Erica is a singer-songwriter from Tanzania, East Africa. Falling in love with music at an early age, she developed her passion while singing in her local church choir. After completing a degree in Mass Communication from St. Augustine University of Tanzania (SAUT), Erica worked as a TV and Radio producer at KISS-FM Tanzania, Trinity TV, and Tanzanian Broadcasting Corporation (TBC) while pursuing her passion for music.

In 2005, she released her first single “Tafakari”, which received a wide release on East African radio and TV. One year later, Erica made her debut on American airwaves with the lead vocal on George Sarah’s “Moja Bila Moja.”

In 2010, Erica released her latest single “Close to You” on iTunes. Erica currently lives in San Francisco where she plans to release an album later this year.

She has recently shot a video for her debut single, which will soon be aired on your favorite TV stations and online.
