William Devane was born in 1937 in Albany, NY. Although he has played many notable roles, he is well known for playing the role of Gregory Sumner on the nighttime TV drama "Knots Landing", a spin-off of the "Dallas" TV drama. Devane is also well known for playing the role of John F. Kennedy due to the fact that he looks a lot like him.
