Gavin MacLeod who played Murray Slaughter on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Captain Stubing of The Love Boat

Gavin MacLeod was born Allan George on February 28, 1930 in New York.  Gavin is mostly known for playing Murray Slaughter on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show".  He then later moved on to Captain "The Love Boat" as Merrill Stubing.  "The Love Boat" also starred  Lauren Tewes, Bernie Kopell, Fred Grandy, Jill Whelan, and Ted Lange.  "The Love Boat" played host to many, many guest stars over the years.
